Pure Joy!

The other day I purchased a ballpit/jumper for the kiddos.  It helps them to get out some of the never ending energy without having to handle the horrible heat.  They were beyond excited when they saw the ball pit and then didn't stop laughing or jumping for an hour.  That day I absolutely witnessed pure joy from these two sweet monkeys...one of the best parts of being a Mom!

Happy Birthday Grandma H!

We also celebrated Grandma H's birthday during our Father's Day festivities.  Grandma H is such a special person in our lives.  She is amazingly supportive of our family and absolutely adores her grandchildren.  George and Clara are very lucky to have you in their day to day lives.  We love you Grandma H!  Thanks for being you!  XOXO.

Father's Day x 3!

John and I were out of town on Father's Day again this year.  This meant we celebrated Father's Day three times the following week!  Our first celebration was with my Dad and Mom.  We celebrated with a great dinner at our house.  Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Happy Father's Day Grandpa!

Father's Day #2 was with our little family celebrating George and Clara's amazingly wonderful Daddy!  We had a morning swim, a nice brunch, and opened presents at home.  John was able to go play some golf and relax that afternoon.  We are truly blessed!  John is such an amazing father and provider for our family.  Love you honey!

Happy Father's Day Daddy! You're the best!

Cheers!  The twins are way too involved in their brunch to notice!

Loving our brunch with Daddy!

I love cinnamon rolls!

George loves playing with the wrapping!

Father's Day #3 was with the Hadjioannou family.  Christina, Sayed, Bianca, and George came over for dinner.  John made his famous brisket and it was SO good! We really enjoyed our time together.  Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures so we only got one with Grandpa and George wouldn't cooperate.

Happy Father's Day Grandpa!!!

We have three wonderful fathers in our lives.  Such an amazing blessing!  We love you Grandpa Q, Grandpa H, and Daddy!

KAMOM Independence Day Lunch

We enjoyed a Fourth of July lunch with our KAMOM friends at Spring Creek BBQ today.  The best part for Clara and George...the gigantic ice cream scoops!  We had a great time decked out in our red white and blue!

Yummy!

Stay away from my ice cream Mom!

Creativity at its finest!

It is miserably hot outside now so we aren't able to play outdoors too much.  Yesterday I went to our local Sam's Club to stock up on essentials.  When I was unpacking everything to put it away, I thought the kiddos could have some building fun with the paper towels and toilet paper.  It entertained them for quite a while!  Creativity at its finest!

Naptime Kisses

Clara and George started giving each other and Mommy kisses through the slats of their cribs.  It is so adorable.  They are showing affection for each other more and more as they get older.  I love it!

Two Peas in a Pod

Clara loves Bailey.  Bailey loves Clara.  Enough said.

Cutest SMU Fans...Ever!

While in Dallas this past weekend we stocked up on SMU gear for the twins.  I loved these football and cheerleader t-shirts when I saw them in the store.  George and Clara look adorable in them.  Today I've been unsuccessfully trying to teach them to say, "Go SMU!" and to put up their Pony ears.  Nevertheless these two are the cutest SMU fans...ever!

Cuties!

Weekend Wedding Get Away

John and I escaped to Dallas this past weekend for a sorority sister's wedding.  It was so wonderful to see our college friends.  We were able to have a great lunch with John's college roommate Josh, his wife Amanda, and his two sweet boys Brady and Tucker.  We spent lots of time with my sorority sisters which means we laughed...a whole lot.  I love this group of women who have now been my friends for close to a decade.  We may not see each other every day but when we are together it doesn't seem like a moment has passed by.   A big thanks to Grandma and Grandpa H for taking over twin duty for the weekend.  We so appreciate your never ending support!

My handsome hubby - Love you John!
