First Movie at the Theater

Bianca and I took George and Clara to their very first movie, Ice Age 3.  George and Clara were awesome through the whole movie.  They sat and munched on their popcorn.  They did get up a few times to get out some wiggles but they wanted to wait to the very end to leave.  It was a success!  Now they want to take Daddy to the movies.

Princess Bunny and Spiderman

Grammy Quinn took George and Clara to Build A Bear and let them get whatever their little hearts desired.  They named them Princess Bunny and Spiderman.  They brought their new friend to bed that night.  The next morning after breakfast George and Clara requested that Princess Bunny and Spiderman join us on the swing set. What happened next was just about the sweetest thing ever...

Bubbles bubbles!

Yellow week...or two.

Yellow week was stretched over a few weeks due to family birthdays, holidays, illness, and the general craziness in our house.  Nonetheless we all had fun doing our yellow activities!

One day we wore yellow.

We had lots of fun playing tennis with our yellow tennis balls another day.

We picked a few of Daddy's yellow flowers.

We drew pictures of yellow things with our yellow sidewalk chalk.

We painted our finger and toe nails yellow.  Yep.  Even George had yellow toes for a few days.

We played with yellow water balloons in our yellow bath.

We stuck lots of yellow stickers.

We made yellow sparkly suns too.  I put them around the house while they were napping.  Each sun had a name written on it so we can work on name recognition too.  After we found our suns, we painted them with glue and then added glitter for a little sparkle. 

It's raining. It's pouring.

Houston has had rain every single day for a week.  Some areas have flooding.  Some of my friends can kayak in their front yard...literally.  George and Clara have been quite stir crazy being cooped up in the house so we decided to let them burn off some energy in the rain.  Mommy joined in the fun too!

Summer Gymnastics

George and Clara are taking a summer gymnastics class where I took all of my dance classes growing up.  They really enjoy the physical activity and all of the equipment they are allowed to use.  There are actually three sets of twins in the class!  I love watching them experience new things.
