Christmas 2012

Santa came!  George and Clara were both very good this year so Santa spoiled them with lots of fun presents.

 Iron Man!

She actually squealed when she saw this dollhouse.

Forget the other presents.  It's time to play!
A science set for little man.

 3D glasses for his TV.

A new coffee maker for Mommy.  I will be needing this in a few months.

 Soccer time!
A new purse for Mommy.  Love it!

They were so excited about the science kit.

We had to start experimenting right away!

We headed over to Grammy and Pop-pop Quinn's house to have brunch and open gifts.  Uncle Jay was there to celebrate with us too.  So nice to be all together on Christmas morning!
 Pop-pop opening presents.

 Grammy's turn!
 Daddy got some great gifts.

 Mommy got some awesome cuddles!

Clara wanted to take pictures too!

 One of our favorite people!

After a nice nap, we went to Grandma and Pop-pop Wannos house for round three.  More presents and fun with family!

 Cousins!

 That's my present!
That is almost as big as you buddy!
Playing peek a boo with Elyse.

 Opening presents

 A bracelet for Grandma

Pop-pop's book.  We are so proud of his accomplishment!

 Another purse for Mommy! :)

 Uncle Sayed's turn!

This Christmas was by far our favorite since George and Clara graced our lives with their presence.  They were so excited about Santa and presents.  They enjoyed church and time with family at fancy dinners.  They loved playing with their cousin and opening presents with their grandparents.  We really enjoyed every moment of the holiday with our two sweet monkeys.  We look forward to next year when we have three monkeys to cuddle on Christmas morning!

Christmas Eve Festivities

As our family tradition goes, Christmas Eve started with a yummy family breakfast.

Then we got to work making some festive cookies to put out for Santa that night.

The twins loved to decorate the cookies this year.  They both were pretty creative.  Daddy was too!

Later that afternoon we got ready to go to the children's church service with Grammy Quinn.  They looked so cute!

And there is the bump!  7 months pregnant with our little guy.

After Church we met Pop Pop Quinn and Daddy to head out to dinner at Uncle Jay's restaurant.  Jay couldn't spend the evening at home with us so we took the celebration to him at work.  Here are Daddy and George getting ready to go.

Daddy and his little girl.  Love this!

George and Clara did awesome at our 90 minute dinner and we were able to see a very busy Uncle Jay cooking in the kitchen.  I forgot to take pictures in the restaurant.  Wish I had.  We did snap this one as we were leaving by the lights on the lake.

After we got home from dinner we changed into our Christmas PJs and put out our cookies for Santa.  Here are George and Clara yelling, "Santa is number 1!" Goofballs.

After putting our cookies out for Santa, we went to the front yard to sprinkle our reindeer food in the grass for Rudolph and company.  The reindeer get hungry too!

They did a great job of covering our WHOLE front yard with reindeer food.

Looking up in the sky for Santa on his sleigh.

We tucked these two monkeys into bed in hopes that we would get a visit from Santa Claus while we slept.  It was a wonderful Christmas Eve celebration!

Elf Business

Princess and Chippy, our Elves, certainly made our Christmas season exciting.  George and Clara loved searching for them every morning and were sad to see them go on Christmas Eve.  We look forward to our adventures next Christmas with our favorite elves.

 Cuddling with tiny Santa

 Riding in on George's train

 Sneaking into our candy jar

Riding the twins' rocking horse.  Giddy up!

When you touch the elves, their magic leaves them and they can no longer fly to the North Pole to report to Santa.  Clara touched George's elf and he was devastated.  I wrote the above note with Clara to Santa.  I love her signature!

George and Clara found their elves the next morning in the elf hospital.  Santa left the note below for the twins.

Catching up on some seasonal reading.

 They caught a Christmas turkey!

 Just hanging around.

Spending some quality time with the man in red.
