CLARA
On the Go, Go, Go: She is our tiny dancer! She moves to any kind of music every time it is playing. She likes to lift her legs in the air (kind of like a ballerina but with less grace) and she also likes to sway back and forth. She even dances in her car seat. I can't wait until she is old enough for dance class.
Chatty, chatty, chatty: Clara will try to repeat words back to you. Spontaneous words are few and far between still but she did add the word trash to her vocabulary. She and George seem to have some sort of way of communicating with each other. They seem to be very in sync sometimes which just solidifies the fact that they conspire against me!
Mommy's Little Helper: She likes to help me do things around the house. She helps me put the laundry in the machines, put trash in the the trash can, and brings things to Daddy or George if I ask her to. Clara is also very interested in cooking. Sometimes she is allowed to help Mommy "stir the pot."
Playtime: Clara likes to push her new stroller around with her dolly in it. It is adorable! Clara and George are starting to play together instead of next to each other. They play peek-a-boo, hide from each other, and chase each other. Usually these games include lots of belly laughing which keeps me smiling!
GEORGE
On the Go, Go, Go: We now have a climber! George tries to climb and step on everything. He can get up on the chair and couch now. He is very proud of himself when he successfully scales a piece of furniture. Now I just wait until he starts climbing out of his crib too. Yikes!
Chatty, chatty, chatty: He is still such a babbler! He doesn't have many words yet but is constantly making noise. He seems to have great receptive vocabulary skills. He follows one step commands and will point out pictures in books when asked. He impresses me everyday!
Man's Man: George is all about hanging out with the guys. If Daddy, Grandpa George, or Grandpa John are around then all the ladies are chopped liver. He doesn't want to have anything to do with us. It cracks me up. His absolute adoration of his Grandfathers continues!
Playtime: George is the busiest of the two of them. He seems to be in constant motion unless a book grabs his attention. He currently loves The Wheels on the Bus. I must read it to him 10 times a day. When he does get enthralled by a book he will sit and thumb through it for 10 to 15 minutes which is an eternity for this little man. I hope his love of books continues as he gets older!
too precious...I cannot believe how big they are!!
