Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's Day this year.  I told George and Clara that Valentine's Day is about celebrating all the people that we love.  When I asked them who they loved, they mostly responded Pop-pop at first.  Eventually all the important people made it on their list...Grammy, Grandma, Daddy, Stina, Elyse, Jay, and finally Mommy.  We went shopping for all of our favorite loves and the twins picked out what to get everyone.

First came Daddy.  The conversation went a little like this. Me: George and Clara, what do you want to get Daddy for Valentine's Day?  George: Beer.  Me: (stunned silence). Clara: (nodding in approval) Beer.  So this is what we got Daddy:

George Clara and Daddy sent me some beautiful flowers for Valentine's Day.

They wanted to get all their grandparents a choo-choo train.  I explained to them that a train was too big to wrap so we drew one instead.  They were very proud of their work.  We made two special deliveries on Valentine's Day to four very special Grandparents.

George and Clara had MDO on Valentine's Day.  They brought their teachers a rose with a card as well as cookies and some goodies for their friends.  They got lots of goodies in return!

George and Clara told me they wanted to give Aunt Stina a heart, so we got her some chocolates in a heart box.  They said they wanted to give Elyse a toy so we got her a stacking toy just like the one the twins had when they were babies.  John and I had a great lunch out while the kiddos were at MDO.  We had a special family dinner together that night and we gave George and Clara a few things.  They love opening presents!

Happy Valentine's Day friends!  We hope that yours was as filled with love as ours was!
