Philadelphia Trip

We took our first trip back to my hometown of Philadelphia.  I was a little nervous since George and Clara had not flown before.  They were very excited for the whole experience.  My parents joined us on the trip so we had two adults to one toddler.  On the way there, both George and Clara were very good.  I was so proud of them.  I was armed with lots of little surprises, snacks, new toys, and movies to keep them occupied.  We were complimented by the other passengers for being good parents and having such well behaved children.

We spent our whole time in Philly with my Dad's side of the family.  George and Clara finally met their Great Great Aunt Mary and Great Great Uncle Dick.  They met lots and lots of cousins too.  We adventured into Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell and visit a children's museum.  We had a wonderful time with all of our family and look forward to future trips to Philadelphia.  After four days of late bedtimes and no naps, we will just say that we didn't receive any compliments on the kiddos behavior on the flight back, but nonetheless we made it home safely!

Getting ready to take our horse drawn carriage tour of Philadelphia.  George and Clara loved the horse because he was named Noodles.  :)

Enjoying our history lesson.
