Hearing the Heartbeats
At 6 weeks 6 days pregnant, we had a little scare and had to return to the doctor for a second ultrasound. We anxiously stared at the screen to see those babies again and there they were. Both babies had doubled in size in two days! One of the babies heart rate was 140 bpm while the other was still 115 bpm. Without telling us, Teri (now our new best friend) turned on the doppler to hear their little heartbeats. My breath caught and I started to cry. It was just an amazing sound. At that moment it finally sunk in...I'm going to be a mom!

I remember that magical moment that is truly a miracle! I am so happy for you and these twins are so blessed to have such wonderful parents. We are lucky that we will get to experience this with you!

I am so happy for you! I can remember when I heard Reid's heartbeat and in that moment it all changes. It truly is a miracle. These twins are so blessed to have such wonderful parents. We are pretty lucky to be able to experience this adventure with you!
