Blue Week

Since George and Clara are out of "school" for the summer, I decided we were going to do some learning at home.  First we are working on colors.  We will devote one week to each of the primary colors and then move on to the secondary colors.  For blue week, we did a project each day that involved the color blue.

On Monday we all wore blue.

 

Then we made blue jello and ate it for snack.

On Tuesday, we learned what a few drops of blue food coloring would do to white shaving cream.

On Wednesday, we made a blue collage.  

On Thursday we made blue butterflies using hand prints.  We finished our day with a blue bath and blue soap body paint.

On Friday we read Little Blue Truck and painted our toenails blue.

It was a fun blue week!  Can't wait to see what red week has in store for us next.
