Fourth Of July Fun

We spent the Fourth with our family and some of our best friends The Carters.  We started the day at the Fourth of July parade in Kingwood.  I love bringing the kids to the same things I enjoyed while growing up.  We walked away with tons of candy, American flags, and bellies full of popsicles.

On the Fourth of July, we got a "new to us" swing set thanks to our good friends Jake and Maria.  George and Clara were really excited.

After we did some swinging and ate lunch, we headed inside to decorate our Fourth of July cupcakes. 

 

After nap our family and The Carters came over to swim and munch on some bbq.  We let the twins stay up to watch the fireworks on TV.  I think next year we will try to go to a fireworks show in the area.  It was a wonderful Fourth of July.  It is becoming one of my favorite holidays to host!
