Ringing in 2014

We spent New Years Eve together as a family.  Long gone are the days of "going out" to celebrate a new year.  John and I actually talked about how we don't really miss that at all.  This season of life is much better.

We took some "last pics of 2013" after the kids chowed down on pizza and sprite.  Our two four year olds and our nine month old are pretty cute if you ask me.  When we put the three monkeys to bed John and I ate our traditional New Years Eve fondue and talked a lot about the past year and what we look forward to in the New Year.  Our dinner had a quite cute interruption...

Goofballs.  After answering a thousand questions...why are you eating so late? why is there fire on the table? is that bread? can i dip it in the cheese for you? what about one bite, pleeaaase?...we got them back in bed and enjoyed our dinner.  At midnight we clinked glasses by the fire in the quiet of our house. Pretty perfect.

New Years Day dinner of heavy appetizers has always been a Quinn family tradition.  We hosted the family at our house this year. We enjoyed munching on good food, enjoying good wine, watching football, and spending time together.

Happy 2014!  Wishing everyone the best of years!
